Online Courseware

The brief 

To redesign and develop Brisbane Catholic Education's online compliance training, to support the WHS training needs of the organisation's 11,500 staff.

My role

  • Lead designer/developer. 
  • Engagement with stakeholders, subject matter experts and education officers.
  • Collaboration with service management officer and team members.
  • Research.
  • Developed prototypes, storyboards and wireframes.
  • Led online course design and development.
  • Led user testing.
  • Published style guides and templates.
  • Provided eLearning software training for colleagues.

Outcome

This project was the organisations's first foray into in-house development of online adult education. With the successful and punctual completion of the project, the organisation was able to successfully transition to a new eLearning platform without incurring significant licence costs for the redundant system. And our team had a bevy of new skills and resources, ready to elevate and expand our service offering for the organisation.
